Tenzin Tsedup is a Tibetan artist born and raised in exile in northern India, currently living in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S where teaches Tibetan music to young Tibetan children at Tibetan Association of Boston's language and music school.He is a graduate of the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts - TIPA founded by H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama to preserve and promote Tibetan culture.

 

Tsedup joined the institute in 2004 and since then he has mastered the art of Tibetan opera, folk dance, classical singing, and modern composition. He plays several Tibetan instruments, mainly the dranyen.

 

When composing his own music, he combines Tibetan traditional music with western tunes, creating a unique fusion.
